1door.ca provides quick access to a free phone or video counselling session. You choose a convenient date and time. This service is for everyone: children, youth, adults and families in North Simcoe Muskoka and the surrounding area. There is no waiting list. Keep checking back as we are consistently adding more providers.
New Path Quick Access Child & Youth Mental Health Clinic
New Path Youth & Family Services has launched a new online booking tool to allow children, youth and their families across Simcoe County to easily book free, professional, single-session counselling services, in-person, by phone or online. Appointments through the Quick Access Child and Youth Mental Health Clinic can be made up to two weeks ahead of time and also on the same day.
Youth Wellness Hub: North Simcoe
The Youth Wellness Hub: North Simcoe is an initiative that aims to bring the right services to youth (and their families) at the right time and in the right place. The Hub is a critical step toward improving Ontario’s mental health and addiction services for youth and young adults by:
- Providing rapid access to easily identifiable mental health and substance use services with walk-in, low-barrier services and clear service pathways
- Providing evidence-based interventions matched to individuals’ level of need, and supported transitions to specialized care services when the severity of need is evident
- Integrating mental health, substance use, primary care, vocational, housing and other support services into a one-stop-shop model of care offered in a youth-friendly space
- Reducing transitions between services through co-location and shared services in a single place
